Description:

Compact fluorescent lamps (CFLs) are available in approximately 7, 11, 13, 19, 23, 30 watts that vary in watt, lumen, and overall length by manufacture.

CFLs area available in warm white (2700K); soft white (3000K which is most similar to halogen white); cool white (3500K); daylight (5000K).

Lighting Pattern:

Mostly circular but when inserted into a light fixture's reflector the combination of the lamp in the fixture produces a directional light source.
