Additional Comments:

Bulbs behind transparent glass can create a harsh glare. If glare is a concern, avoid transparent glass or plastic and consider using clear glass or seedy glass.

TIP: It's possible to purchase a lantern from a lighting showroom and then replace its transparent glass inserts with seedy glass or other types of pattern glass.

TIP: Decorative lanterns designed with a cluster socket to be used with three decorative candle lamps produce less glare than those with a single socket.
