Description:

R-Lamp describes a "Reflector Bulb" a lamp type consisting of a one piece glass bulb with a built-in reflector made by applying a thin layer of alluminum to a protion of the glass bulb.

Primary Use:

R-lamps and Reflector bulbs are used for general lighting where beam pattern control is not required. Some fan lights use small sized R-lamps.

Physical Appearance:

Glass front with a silver aluminum back with a medium screw base.

Lighting Pattern:

R-Lamp or "Reflector Bulb" does not have a precise beam pattern but is available in flood or spot.
