Kitchen Lighting Controls Questions
1. Should I have standard switch for undercabinet lighting or a dimming control?
  It's always better to have the dimming function because you can balance the natural and electric light in your room for visual tasks.
2. My electrician keeps asking me where I want to switch my lighting. I have a lighting layout showing him where I want my recessed undercabinet and decorative lighting. Couldn’t he just locate the switches?

7. Why are my lights brighter on one side of the room and dim on the other?
  You are experiencing “voltage drop” at the end of your lighting fixture run.
8. What is voltage drop?
  “Voltage Drop” is when voltage at the beginning of a length of cable is greater than the voltage at the end.
